Argentina set for at least the Quarter finals
Argentina are currently ranked as 9th in the world according to the latest FIFA rankings. They have made 14 appearances at the World Cup finals and have been holders of the Jules Rimet trophy on two occasions, first in 1976 and then in 1986 (the year of the infamous hand of god incident against England by current head coach Diego Maradona).

Group B should be an easy journey for the experienced Argentinean team who should easily walk into the last 16 on maximum points, they are likely to come a cropper however by the quarter finals unless stars such as Messi and Tevez can reproduce their club form at International level and the Argentina Odds on winning the World Cup are 9/1.
